  key topics on the agenda will be presenting a vote to members on changing
  our domestic competitions to a calendar year starting in the second half 
 of 2025. This change aims to streamline our financials\, age groups\, and 
 administration\, align with Basketball NSW (our governing body)\, and prov
 ide our dedicated volunteers with more downtime. Rest assured\; members wi
 ll still enjoy the same number of games each year.We look forward to seein
 g you there\, whether in person at the BISC or online. Your participation 
 is crucial to the ongoing success and improvement of our association.**RUL
 ING on Quorum**Five members present in person (being members entitled unde
 r these rules to vote at a generalmeeting) constitute a quorum for the tra
 nsaction of the business of a general meeting.If within half an hour after
  the appointed time for the commencement of a general meeting a quorumis n
 ot present\, the meeting:(a) if convened on the requisition of members\, i
 s to be dissolved\, and(b) in any other case\, is to stand adjourned to th
 e same day in the following week at the same time and (unless another plac
 e is specified at the time of the adjournment by the person presiding at t
 he meeting or communicated by written notice to members given before the d
 ay to which the meeting is adjourned) at the same place.If at the adjourne
 d meeting a quorum is not present within half an hour after the time appoi
